What is NON GMO?

The NON GMO (Non-GMO) labels you see on the products mean that there are no genetically modified organisms in the food you buy.

What is NON GMO?

Genetically modified means that scientists artificially manipulate organisms in crops to create something that cannot occur in nature or through hybridization methods. When you see the NON GMO label, you understand that there is no such manipulation on the product.

Although there is a lot of discussion about GMO or non-GMO issues, as an organization, we believe that all foods and other products should be labeled both ways, taking into account consumer rights.

The hardest thing about GMOs these days is labeling programs. Many manufacturers label their products "non-GMO" and this is unfortunately a marketing tactic. When most people see these labels, they think this is a product with NON GMO Certification. But unfortunately that may not be the case.

Unless a product or brand has officially passed the NON GMO certification program and related processes, there is a possibility that it may be GMO or cross-contaminated.

A labeled product that has successfully passed the NON GMO certification program offered by our organization has been tested and approved within the framework of strict criteria and standards. Companies that have been successfully certified must then undergo annual audits to ensure that the products have successfully avoided GMOs.

Do not hesitate to contact our expert team to get detailed information about the GMO Free and NON GMO label and certification, or to apply for certification.
